All Things Hair

Join us for another special Show & Tale event!

Come to Show & Tell or Look & Listen!

Every Thing & Everyone Welcome!

We’d love for you to donate $5, but you are more than welcome to donate more or less. Once you are registered for this event, you will receive an email confirmation with instructions on how to join us live. Thank you for your support!

Join us by Zoom on June 20, 2021, at 3:30 pm – 5:00 pm Eastern Time!

So many women and men measure their perceived level of attractiveness based upon their hair, or lack thereof! And so many stories are hair-centric, from the fairy tale about Rapunzel to celebrities who have inspired iconic hairdos, to young men grimacing when their heads first get shaved when they join the military.

So bring your baby’s lock of hair, a beloved barrette, HAIR or Hairspray, or a wig you were never brave enough to wear when your husband said “Let’s spice things up in the bedroom”, or your grandpa’s toupee, because all things hair always have interesting stories! And whether or not you have hair, we know you will still have a story! Every THING has a story.

Show & Tale is like Antiques Roadshow meets The Moth, or your favorite Pinterest board come to life!

Everyone is welcome to share with a 3-minute time limit. No judges, no prizes, no competition. And no need to practice! Just Show your object and share its Tale.

Remember you don’t have to show and tell…you can just look and listen; observers are always welcome!

We’d love for you to donate $5, but you are more than welcome to donate more or less. Once you are registered for this event, you will receive an email confirmation with instructions on how to join us live. Thank you for your support!

Please note: This event will be recorded for marketing purposes. If you do not wish to be recorded please let us know by sending an email to info@showandtales.com.  Otherwise, by registering for this event, you agree to be recorded for Show & Tale purposes.

Meet your host: Martie McNabb

Martie McNabb is a personal historian/visual artist who tells stories with people’s photo, document & memorabilia archive. And I’m an interactive story-sharing heartist who helps people create connections by holding space for people to share the stories about the things they keep. What photo or object do you hold dear?
